Tech Oversight Project
As Executive Director of the Tech Oversight Project, Sacha Haworth is helping shape the future of AI by strongly advocating for greater competition and consumer protection in the rapidly-developing AI sector so that our economy avoids the same problematic harms and market consolidation that has plaugued the social media era. Under her leadership, the Tech Oversight Project has rallied like-minded organizations and raised awareness about tactics tech gatekeepers are already deploying to cut off competitors in AI with members of the National Economic Council (NEC) and members of Congress. She also helped shape the media narrative by pushing lawmakers to consider how various AI use cases are affecting consumers.
