Dr. Courtney Radsch is the Director of the Center for Journalism and Liberty at the Open Markets Institute and a global thought leader on the nexus of media, technology policy and AI governance. Her transdisciplinary research focuses on platformization, information ecosystems, and the political economy of journalism, concentration of power, and the sociotechnical impact of tech governance in the Global North on at-risk populations in the Global South. Recent publications include: Can Journalism Survive AI?, Market Concentration in Cloud Services and its Impact on Investigative Journalism, Envisioning a Healthy Information Ecosystem, and AI and Disinformation: State-Aligned Information Operations and the Distortion of the Public Sphere.
